Lorn's "Acid Rain" is nothing short of a hauntingly beautiful scene. Zombie cheerleaders - gliding through an empty diner restaurant and parking lot - will be sure to grab your attention and leave you asking questions. With a mixture of elements from The Walking Dead and Black Swan, the result is a slow, sinister anthem for those who have passed into the next life. The piece takes the staples of American pop culture, like the muscle car, diner, and cheer team, and adds a gloomy, ominous touch.

The mesmerizing project was co-directed by Julian Flores, Pavel Brenner, and Sherif Alabede. It has impeccable set design, with a strong artistic vision and choreography that is flawlessly in time with the music. The video won the 2015 UK MVA 'Best Dance Music Video', 2015 Milano Film Festival Showcase, and 2016 SXSW Official Selection. It was released on Wednesday Sound.

Lorn was born in Normal, Illinois, later residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is influenced by Drexciya, Underground Resistance, Dom & Roland, Technical Itch, and Aphex Twin. His music has been used in video games, movies and TV shows, including CSI and the 2017 movie Ghost in the Shell.

Daylight
And bad dreams
In a cool world
Full of cruel things
Hang tight
All you
Nothing like a big bad bridge
To go burning through
