Trophy Eyes on Tour, New Album The American Dream
Australian punk rock band Trophy Eyes have released their third album The American Dream through Hopeless Records, with three singles coming out before the album release, giving fans a little taste of the upcoming collection. "Friday Forever", "You Can Count On Me", and "More Like You" help illustrate the idea of shedding one’s past and leaving your destruction behind.
Vocalist John Floreani explains, "This record is about my life in present time and a reflection on who I was and how I got here. As much of the other Trophy Eyes works have been the hate, violence, addiction and heartbreak I fought so desperately to leave behind, this record is about shedding one's past, transitioning from boy to man, making a home and wanting nothing more in life than to sit and enjoy the silence.”
The third album follows the successful Chemical Miracle from 2016, which debuted at #8 in Australia. With the album’s success, Trophy Eyes went on back-to-back tours in Australia, North America, and Europe. Next month, Trophy Eyes will go on a U.S. tour with Neck Deep, Stand Atlantic, and WSTR.
